On May 22nd, 2025, Cerebrum's Document Verify API had a 9-minute outage from 4:28 PM UTC to 4:37 PM UTC, caused by a deployment that upgraded a fundamental piece of software in our instances. Users who tried scanning their ID using vID / vID Web during that time window got an Internal Server Error response. The incident was identified and fixed, with a follow-up definitive fix to be implemented. We apologize for the inconvenience and are taking measures to ensure similar issues don't happen again.
